Well - I got an email this morning that my CC was charged for another $40 for NTTA - which is fine - I went to change the card of record online and also to randomly check to see if my old tag which was stolen was used.

We guess what the old tag and the old License number showed up in the log on a transaction yesterday. I called NTTA and they explained that the transaction actually happened in JUNE and they are just now getting around to processing the transaction. WTF ? Is there NO limit to how screwed up their billing can be ? They explained that they switched to some new system and then transactions from May june july and august MAY be posted LATE.

This is crazy - how long after a transaction can NTTA charge your card ?

There's no statute of limitations on getting bent over by the state. They can do whatever they want whenever they damn well please and you better like it. :flaming:

About a year ago they sent me a bill for $0.75 from a toll, I kid you not, 2 years prior. It was such a small amount, it wasn't worth fighting for me.

The last time I got on a toll road was a long time ago. It was the last time because I realized I had just payed 50 cents to sit in trafic.
