View Full Version : Fog lamp housing recommendations

I decided I want to put my foglights back on my truck. I took them off when I finally got around to readjusting my front bumper to make things easier, and never got around to putting them back on 1) Because I didn't feel like it at the time, and 2) because the glass lenses are cracked. How much am I looking to spend for some new lights and where do I get them?

Edit - Xterras reportedly use the same fog lights, and they look the same here. Think these would be worth it from the bay?

Edit2 - It seems the lens itself can be replaced for about the same price as the housing. Would a glass lens be better than plastic?

Glass breaks, plastic yellows over time. I like the plastic ones in my 01, 04 and F250 they have all outlasted the truck.

Yeah it came with the glass lenses and I think they have been broken ever since I bought the truck, who knows how long they were broke before that. Anyway do you think the eBay ones would be fine?

They were nice and clean when they were mine.
I would call the New World part house on Irving Blvd and see if they offer them. Those are a little high for Chinese copies. Use the Meadlin's cash account. Don't have their number handy but they are at Irving Blvd and loop 12 right across from the Racetrac station.

Hey put the Hella 300's on my truck after they started looking bad.
I got them on NLOC when the group buy went through, before they had group buys, and all the junk.

they match very well with my Diamond headlight set.

A few other people on another site mentioned the Hella 300 lights as well. I dunno I kinda like the stock lamps better.
