I was looking through some old pics and found this. It was May of 04 when I was bringing my gen1 home. The pic was in Missouri I think..

I was crying then because premium was 2.27 in Michigan... I had to full up two tanks! But it would run 500 miles on a fill up. Then there was the year L Fest was a week after Katrina and whatever that other one was that hit Houston. Diesel was scarce and near 4 bucks a gallon. You could even buy red diesel at the pump since they were so low it was allowed into the supply for road vehicles.

Wow! to think these bastards got me feeling good about paying 3.00 per gallon! Then again that was their plan. Jack it up to almost 4.00 per gallon then drop it.:bs

I was sad after the 01 was gone so I bought a super clean one owner 94. I kept it for 5-6 months and sold it. It just wasn't the same it didn't fill the void left by my 01. So I just drove old blue until I decided to get the F250 and trailer and grow my business. Been stuck in a work truck ever since. Now I have a g2 project but I never get a chance to drive it due to logistics and security concerns. The world is so crappy I don't feel I can leave it in my apt complex etc..
I had a lot of fun before I tried to make a living working on Lightnings. I had two Corvettes, two Lightnings, half a dozen 4 wheelers, super bikes...
