I'm getting tired of every online media company thinking that they need to have some flashy video something to relay their message. 99% of the time the video means NOTHING and provides NO information about the product or service, that couldnt be siad better faster and cheaper in text. - Enough - I don't need flash or movies or other Web BS - just text is fine - I can read just fine - you don't have to read it to me ..

The local news channels are bad too... I dont need to see a talking head reading to me - just post the article - I dont want to have to sit thru a video ad before every video starts - I dont want to sit thru 30 seconds of ads for 10 seconds of content that is useless...

The same deal goes for DVD's. I didn't buy or rent the movie to see previews. When DVD's first came out I don't remember them having all these freaking previews.:confused:

Whats really cools is they hack the DVD code to prevent you from skipping them pr fast forwarding- and the 15 minutes of ads for the production company and the executive production company and the company that rented them the trailers... all before you can see the start of the movie - which starts with another 2 min advertisement for the studio .... WHO cares !!!

yeah the 6 dollar popcorn and the 10 ticket isnt enough - they force you to sit through ads they get paid for as well.....

I couldn't have said it better myself. These days it seems like every single site is going to this. I was just annoyed by this earlier this week when checking out the new website for Loft 610 that opened in plano/frisco. I wanted to email them and tell them to get rid of it!!!
