Is there a huge difference between Short and Long Header? I'm looking to put some headers on the L....and not too sure which way to go! Any advice would be great! :tu:

You had better be pushing some serious psi to make it worth your while.. at least that is what I have been told.

Short is a waste of money and knuckle skin. I like Kooks for the best performance and ease of installation.

Unless you are pushing 500+ HP. or planning to. New headers will not make any HP. gains, only louder like Doug said.

I have installed many sets and brands headers and even the cheap ones picked up 10-15 on stock trucks. Rob's 02 picked up 25 with the KB on a stock block.

OK.
Maybe I should have said noticeable HP. gains

Many people experienced no improvement - even so at approx $1500+ for an exhaust system its over $100 per HP at the BEST case

I guess I stand corrected... it was always my impression that some guys even lost HP when they put on headers unless they were pushing some pretty big psi numbers.. that is what I recall from having read so many posts on this, esp after guys ran dyno numbers and were ticked that they had spent the $$ to get them and then to see a drop off..
