Gen 1 aftermarket parts

Hey Guys, were is a good place to get parts for these 93-95 L's??? Cold air intake??? Pulleys??? Throttle bodies????

You can use pullies made for a 87-93 Mustang 5.0. Same for the throttle body. Many people say you wont feel the throttle body though. I have FMS underdrives with an overdrive alt pulley on mine, with a 70mm throttle body and spacer. Cold air intake you are pretty much on your own. I have seen several people make them with a 90° and 45° mandrel bend.

Yeah theres not really much in the way of off the shelf performance for these like the Gen2. Generally though 5.0 boltons will work.

Other than eliminating the speed imiter, the chips available for our trucks don't do much more than bump the timing, which you can do yourself for free. Bump it to about 14* & you will feel a little extra. Just make sure you run 93* octane fuel or it will knock.
If I were you , I'd just save a few more pennies than a chip would cost & get a tweecer. Then you can eliminate the governer, and make whatever adjustments you need to as future mods require.

I bought a used Jet Module for $30 from NLOC. Never used it cause someone told me it wasn't worth $30. I think Rob has it now. You can have it if you can track it down. :icon_mrgreen:

I talked to him today. He gave the module to his Dad who sold his G1 for a G2 recently.

I would go a different route.
