So when I bought my L in '05, the org. owner i guess kept the org. key. And i got stuck with the spare! so is there any where to get an org key made???

the dealer, but I am guessing you already knew that and dont want to have to pay what they charge..

yeah but i so hoping there might be so where else. They charge alot for a key!

YOu can go to a locksmith, no reason to go to the dealer. My recomendation is to get 2 additional keys made & programmed. That way if you lose one you can have a new one keyed without the need to flash the ECM.

I think the GEM can hold a max of 3 keys. I would get it cleared out so the old keys don't work and learn your new keys. See what a local key costs. I know they sell them on eBay for cheaper usually. Search for Ford PATS key...
