This may not be as cool to some of you, but I got to drive an 07 Z06 and i cant stop smiling. That car is retarded fast. 1st and 2nd and most of 3rd gear is usless, and its power band is so smooth. The clutch is effortless and shifting is a breeze. When you grab second and are sideways up past 80 it gives you a warm tingly feeling all over:icon_mrgreen:. If I can ever afford one one day I wont hesitate to drop the coin:bows

How much HP does the ZR1 have... 620?
I'm sure they have worked the suspension to handle the power, although I agree... it will be extremely difficult to keep the tires planted, except in warm weather on quality concrete.
There is definitely a limit to streetable power. My car is at 615rwhp and it is pretty ridiculous unless the temp is at least 70^, and even then only drag radials get it to hook at all below 75mph. But... I have old C5 suspension/chassis design, too. The new car will handle the power better.

I wish they would have used the 427 motor in the ZR1. That thing blown would run. The suspension on the Zr1 is amazing it pulls well over 1g on street rubber.
I'll have to fondle Wes' twins when I do his plugs:evil.

GM tried the 427 in the early stages of the ZR1, motor wouldn't hold so they went with a 393 IIRC, reports in all the magazines say 620, but GM said the car will have more than that when its ready to build and ship
I really like the shaker style hood with the see through plexiglass so you can see the supercharger, carbon fiber brakes that were used on the Ferrari Enzo
Josh's new Z06 is stupid fast as well, went with my buddy Dana (bought Josh's C5 Z06) and took them both out to the Hard Eight BBQ restraunt in Stephenville, those curvy backroads the Corvette group took were pretty awesome
