You need to get a motor plate I doubt that chain thing will work. I think the weather will be sleety and cold as hell.

It's supposed to be an equailzer came with the cherry picker

I'll look for a motor plate tomorrow when I go to Northern Tool to get a 5 gallon oil drain

Maybe just pull the tranny sat?? it will be inside LOL

You need to buy a 60K BTU heater while you are there too! They are on spring clearance. You need to build a lift plate with a 2 foot piece of 2" angle iron and an EYE bolt big enough to handle the task 7/16 or 1/2".
You need a transmission extension, deep and shallow wobble sockets, and swiveling ratchet wrenches all metric. IR 2135Ti impact, IR 2115Ti impact. A set of Husky deep impact sockets in half inch drive. All metric again.

A good assortment of extensions and pry bars. I also like the Husky Prof 3/8 air ratchets. But the IR is probably as good Northern is an IR dealer.

how long doe the tranny extension need to be, as long as I can find and what size 3/8 or 1/2

Why do you want to pull the tranny? I said 60K heater that is 35K! Are the tools going to be here in time? If not I am making other plans.

the cab is being taken off at the body shop this week and the frame and wheels are being sent off to be powder coated :tu:
