I put the Lightning up on the TALON, NLOC, and F150online forums for sale. I have been putting it off for a long time deciding what to do, I think it is best that I try to sell her and get into something less expensive (like a gen 1). If anyone out there knows anyone looking for one like mine let them know about it. And please, don't tease me too much this it's difficult enough as it is. :(

BTW-Are you gonna sell of your mods ? Probably get more money out of them if you did.

We made a thread about that before. I guess he is going to try the sell as is. I would take it to CarMax for their offer and sell the mods, swap tires etc and be done with the whole deal in a week vs. months of haggling.:tu:

Yeah...me too. It's a major PITA to sell a high dollar used vehicle, especially in this economy. Sometimes it's better to take a little less than deal with the hassle for months....not to mention paying 2-3 more car payments while trying to sell it.

Trust me, if I tried to take it back after swapping anything I would loose more money. They guys that appraised my truck said the first thing they look at is tires on high performance vehicles. What if I swapped out all the things you guys suggested and took it up there and they offered me a lower price than before then I would be stuck with my truck and everyone elses crappy parts that I traded mine for. I am not going down that path.

Welcome to the Gen 1 club.:D It ain't too bad on this side of the fence. So you already have a Gen 1 picked out? I'm not sure what you're paying for it, but there's been several on NLOC for sale for about 8500.00 average and sometimes with mods or a S/C.

I have a couple that I have my eye on but I wont make a move on one until I get mine sold. Just have to wait and see if someone is going to buy mine. :D
