This is a terrible clip of the truck inside garage....

I'm still getting use to the sound since I had dual Flowmaster 1 chamber mufflers and then open headers.

I added a magnaflow 3" in/out. with the stock cats, and dumped. it sounds very deep. im going to ditch the cats for 2 high flows next paycheck.

i heard about the random tests that can be done on the side of the road that check the smog, and they issue tickets for no cats

hmm...:confused:

I've never heard of that....Only random test on the side of the road are for DWIs, insurance, and license that I've seen/heard of.

They really don't do crap. And if you are worried about it just gain some speed and idle through or cut the motor. I used to go through one all the time with my offroad piped mustang and the L with no problems.

the last thing i need is more tickets. I have a couple more weeks before i will do the cats. I dont want it TOO loud. i drove my 5.0 around for about 2 months with open longtubes.

I would go by them wide open in my Gen2 when they were sitting on the on ramp and I havent ever recieved a ticket for it(Longtubes, catless, and maggies):D
