It all started friday when my Audi's battery went dead. So I got it tested and it turned out to be bad and I bought a replacement. I drove the car for a few miles and it went dead again. I removed the alternator so I could get it tested too and turned out to be bad too!!! I got everything back together and was ready for work today. About half way to work (10 miles) my battery light came on and I busted a U. I almost go home but not quite. I got home with that help of a lady friend and charged up the battery. I went back to get my car and after putting in the charged battery in ran like a bat out of hell. After I bought a battery and alternator I'm stumped. So, I remove the alternator again..got it tested.. and turned out to be bad. I replaced it and now I'm here. I have no way of getting to work and so far I'm not trusted the Audi so I go and fill up the Lightning and on the way over there, the tranny started acting up. This truly sux and I'm thinking about trading in the Audi and parting the Lightning out.....

Burn them all:evil. Check for bad grounds on the engine and chassis. Check to make sure the alternator is getting a signal to charge from the PCM harness. I have seen bad rebuilt alternators. The alternator probably took the battery out so you can't blame the first battery for being bad..

Honestly, burning them did cross my mind.....ha...ha.. I'm just so tired, pissed off, stressed and a bunch of other things. That alt was a bitch to get off....I'm actually thinking about finding a job closer to home....:icon_frown:

Small foreign cars are a PITA most times. That is why I stick with American for cheaper parts and easier access.

Just sell it !How much U want for it:icon_mrgreen:That is an R8 in your avatar,is that whats givin U trouble?Sounds like a bad ground from the batt..U gotta a short some where.Trade for a GTO if its an R8.
