Intercooler?

I order anew Intercooler Pump today from LFP, should be in sometime the middle of next week! The one on my truck doesnt work all the time...I usually have to bang on it to get it working. With it not working will it effect the way my truck runs?

yes if its not working when it should it will result in lower HP

Blow it out with air and squirt some contact cleaner on it?????????
