I caught this show last night ('Birth of a Racer') on HD Theater last night.
It pitted the creation of Micheal Cycsz startup MotoGP entry against the Japanese and the Italians.
He built the bike in 9 months (conceptual to prototype) with over 100 patents for revolutionary motorcycle design principals like:
two crank shafts spinning in opposing directions to eliminate the gyroscopic forces when cornering
front end has a coil-over shock disposed within the head tube and telescopic forks to reduce fork flexThe show aired in 2006 and ended stating that would either be on the paddock at Laguna Seca competing in MotoGP or out of business.
I was intrigued with the design principals but it must not have made it since I can't find any current information.
Nonetheless and very entertaining show and airs a few more times later this week- check it out:tu:
