That kid needs his a$$ tore out the frame...kids now days just basically do what they want to...even the ones that are raised right...you know TV, video games and yep, you tube also have a big influence and a lot of parents baby their bad a$$ brat kids or scared of CPS bullcrap...CPS should only be for real abuse & mistreatment not discipling by "spanking"...I don't care what "you" believe in...I believe in "spare the rod, spoil the child" as I learned and my mom used to say. She taught Irma Brown!!! .(I got that video saved from 3 years ago, someone cleaned the title up.) I'm almost 48 and old school, my mom got us when we "needed it" with whatever was there,...belt, backhand, shoe, switch,...and you had to go get your own switch, don't come back here with no twig, or she go rip the whole limb off the tree and tear that a$$ up. But I really love my mom to death for that because she probably kept me from the wrong crowd, drugs, crime or even 6 feet under.. or better yet, embarassing her. I don't care about no CPS, just ask my now 28 year old daughter,in '95 someone heard me tearing her a$$ out the frame and called five-O when I was living in Irving. He came and said ,"can't tell you how to discipline your kid, just don't hit em' in the head and don't draw blood". When he left I went outside and yelled "whoever called them, mine your own g-dam business!!!" I also had to tell some nurse off at a hospital about getting in my business when she threaten to call CPS one time. Grandma might have just been putting on a show for the camera, when he got in the house, different story, snatched a knot in his a$$.( Beat 'em at home to keep the cops from beating 'em in the street.)He lucky they didn't shoot him but that's another story.

Tell us how you really feel about it, Derrick. :icon_mrgreen:
Seriously, I am with you 100%. My kid threatened to call CPS on me once when he got a spankin'. I handed him the phone and the phone book and said, go for it. When they come over and want to know what happened, I'll have to whip you again to show them. :evil
He didn't call.

It is just plain sad. Undisciplined kids are becoming the majority it seems. Nobody wants to be a parent they just want to have kids and be their friends instead. The world is going to hell.

Wow, no age or race issue here, this is exactly what I experienced, down to the switch, and the worst was the the belt with the metal rings on it.
Still remember the neighbor coming over when I got a college scholarship and telling my mom, you used to beat the crap out of him, looks like it worked.:D

I never required a beating after age 7 or 8. I listened very well by then:tex. Disciplining your kids has to be very hard since you love hem so much. I am glad Dad was man enough to do it though:tu:. Mom, not so much she wasn't strong enough:D

There is no hope for kids like that. Beat them all you want they will still be worthless. There was a 10 year old around here that was caught mutilating people's pets. He will not be "OK" when he gets older.

I can only remember my Dad giving me a good thrashing a handful of times, but when he did I was good for every bit of a year or year and a half before I had to be reminded what it felt like. :icon_cool:

The only thing that will fix that boy is a righteous beating, or beatings, depending on how fast he gets the point. :flaming:
I predict that this little monster will do some real damage, possibly even kill somebody within the next 12 months.

I would also take him out of the environment he is in
He is picking that stuff up from people around him

unfortunately, I agree.. if you read the article, it appears they are blaming his actions on some kind of health issue.. IMHO,, I sincerely doubt it.. he just needs some good arse whippings..

A total change of pace would be best. I can't believe Oprah or Dr. Phil haven't scooped this case up yet. It is media gold.

trouble is now that he is "in the system" no one is going to beat him because he will get them put in jail for abuse
You can be sure he is very aware of that

they need to send him to a military school or to a farm.. remove him from his current environment and send him someplace where he will receive some discipline.. because granny isnt able to provide it.. if I would have done that to my grandmother, she would have taken me to the woodpile, gotten a switch and tanned my hide..
