It saves my arse!
I found this neat site that calculates the mpg/BTU equivalent of E85 to gas. It is almost as much as diesel.:throw:

In my opinion its a total crock when compared to gasoline.
But when Gasoline is 20/gal then renewable Ethanol based fuels will make more sense.

Anyone besides me wondering why E85 is increasing in price in lock step with gas ? its only 15% gas - why is it increasing at the same rate ? :tex:tex:tex

supply and demand.. and because they can charge more for it to a public that thinks its gas.. just my opinion though.

I wondered about that the other day. I was looking into how much it cost, and at most of the stations around me that have it, it followed the price of regular unleaded, only $.30 cheaper.
