I was browsing the HALO site, and is it me, or is HALO EXTREMELY race oriented? I DIG that, but it looks like they do cams and stuff that I have never seen on discussed on this list. They spend $$ like I have socks...

BTW, anyone know if Crower 4.6 cams will fit in our truck? I liked the way the stg II's looked. Just curious for future reference if I even decide to build my motor. Thanks.

Those must be 4 valve specs too many profiles there. 5.4 and 4.6 heads are the same dimensions.

Crower has just released it's new line of billet cam cores for the 4.6 Ford SOHC Modular applications. Currently only the two valve cores are available, however the four valve designs will be available by January 2003. I see it is lobe sep adv duration, duration @.050, the lift at the valve.

its a bi--- to have new cams put in the heads from what I hear. Something to do with a replacement blower or engine build.

I have a set of Crower cams coming that are ground to my specs. which fit about mid ways in that list. Did not want to shift power too high in revs since i have stock rods. Plan on shift points of ~5700. Duration is still up a buch over stock, so expect good gains. Expect delivery soon and then the work begins.

And yes, HALO is very competitive as you will see if you check our TOP 10 list. We have 10 trucks running 12.26 or better w/o N2O and three of us in the 11's.

We also help other club members. I and another club member helped two fellow members install complete JDM exhaust systems on their trucks this week-end. We regularly help other club members do installs at least once and often twice a month (Driveway Installs). This helps those that want to learn more about their truck and reduces cost of going faster. The friendly competition and sharing of time and talent is what makes our club strong. Our list activities has grown to include an activity of interest to most any club member. TALON has a good group of people as well and Shane. Andre, myself and others always try to hook up with TALON whenever in D/FW area. Please join us also whenever any of you are down this way.
