I picked up my new truck yesterday. The truck is all set to go so-to-speak. I've been debating about installing new wheels, but I think I've decided to hold off and leave her alone for a while. My only immediate plans is to lower the front end an additional 1/2" or so and possibly go with a different cat back. I'm going to remove the isolators tomorrow in hope to gain the additional 1/2"
Here are a few pics I took yesterday.

I'm going to have to say yes. I plan to take my Porter cable to it anyway because that's what I do. :D There's no comparison to a bolt-on truck. The truck is a beast and I'm loving it!
Thanks fellas!

I'll take that as a compliment.
I removed the isolators yesterday. I think it improved the stance.

I've been using Lake Country pads. They've recently switch to a new style type of pad. In the past I've used pinnacle products for cleaning up minor swirl marks. Their polishes and wax is good too. I also like using Maguires compound 83 for taking minor swirl marks.

Mama said no more trucks so I guess this is it. I absolutely love this truck so I do not foresee another Lightning in my immediate future.
What's going on in Ennis and when?

Do you love the truck more or the Wife:icon_mrgreen:Id come out to ennis just to see it make a pass.I believe they have test and tune about every friday.Got any burnout videos or flybys. That is one healthy lookin truck under the hood.Is that the K.B. 3.3 or the big whipple? As far as taking power tools to buff, they usually leave swirl marks.Better to hand buff. You can see a power tool buff job(swirl marks) @ night in the light. You wouldnt use power tools on mama would you:d.Nice truck!!Post up when it goes to ennis.:tu:

Well I can't say I love my truck more than my wife.
I'd love to make a pass or two, but I think I better hold off untill the weather cools down.
I'm sporting the little whipple. It seems to do the trick... besides this is my DD.:icon_wink: I'll definitely work on making a vid in the near future.
Using the porter cable is plenty safe as long as you know what you're doing.
