Good Luck, I fought termites for 2 years. You need to find the source of moisture. Since termites love moisture and damp wood.

I had to replace entire walls. Every piece of new wood was treated with Timbor. I bought most of the chemicals at ePest Supply in Dallas. http://www.epestsupply.com The ground and the perimeter of the house were treated with Termidor and Premise. It is not an easy job. You've got to trench around the house and if it's a house with a cement foundation you may need to drill into the foundation and treat it. I have a 100 year old pier and beam house, so every pier had to be trenched. I eventually hired Terminix because it just got to be too much work. It was around $1,500. But, they had to treat my house about 7 times, so all and all it wasn’t really that expensive. I also had them put the bait stations are around the house and they monitor them monthly. That runs about $300 a year, but there is never a charge when they have to re-treat the house. Terminix is not the easiest company to deal with though. I have to constantly keep on top of them because they miss appointments and inspections.

P.S. Because my house is so old, there was a lot of lead paint on the tongue and groove wood under the sheet rocked walls. Anywhere there was lead paint, the termites went around it. They wouldn’t eat the painted wood. I sure wish they still sold lead paint. I’d of painted the entire house in lead paint!

Found a good company that uses Termidor.Good price .Researched the bait stuff and found to be a B.S. way of getting contracts and money for nothing, checks for free on the MTV.Termidor is injected like a foam from the inside walls and pumped around the foundation.Suppose to be the latest and greatest treatment and prevenitive stuff out there.

Yeah, I was going to say who ever does the job make sure they use Termidor. That stuff is awesome. I worked in the pest control industry for a long time and it is the best thing going. If you still cant find someone pm me I know just about all the companies in the dfw area!!!!

We used CDS Pest Control.. it was just short of $1500 to do our old house in Dallas.. They did have to drill a lot of holes in concrete but were very good and the holes were almost unnoticeable when they were done.

I hate them little )*&%^%&!
They got in my bathroom.

I replaced all the wood with aluminum. Lets see the little S.O.B's eat that!

And yes they like moisture. I had a small leak in the tub drain.
