Ok, I had my truck dynoed a few weeks ago at Texas High performance in Arlington before I had my new exhaust installed. The results were very impressive especialy to the guy that was working the dyno machine. It pulled 358 HP and 436 lb/ft of Torque off of a stock drivetrain. The weather was in the low to mid 40s and raining.

My second pull was done this past weekend. I had it dynoed at Speed Works in Lewisville and my results were a bit lower than before. Second time a few weeks later it pulled 351 HP and 422 lb/ft of Torque. The temprsture was in the low 70s(yea, it was warmer) and it was dry as hell. And I also had a 2 day old exhaust system.

I was discussing this with a few people and the fact of a diffrent dyno machine and warmer tmepratures without a doubt played a part in the lower numbers. Even with a new exhaust which I know added power, the assometer tells me all I need to know on power added, but the numbers were a bit lower than I had expected beacuse of the first pulls.

I guess I was just getting my hopes a little too far up there, but I would appreciate yalls feedback on this. And I know I copy and pasted this from online but it was easier than retyping the whold thing.

All dynos read different.. They all calibrate for weather conditions to SAE corrected numbers. They can't exactly get the correction for our intercooler or superchargers though. Colder weather will be higher. 21st Century's dyno was 20-30hp low one week when they opened, the next it was 5-10 high.. Ask Wayne about dyno runs. He started at LG Motorsports @335?, then went to Speedtek @350, then to Speedworks for 365 all in the same day:hammer: Then we replaced his fuel filter and it ran 386? at Speedworks. Now he is soemwhere in the 400's:nana2

Did you change to headers or just muffler? If you just did a muffler you are just buying the sound you like.
