Figures - get us all excited, then torpedo it. I would hope that they would produce this next Lightning, as successful as this one has been. It would also mean all that "We are committed to maintaining our lead as the sport truck king" talk is crap.

There are some things on the Lightning concept I like and many I don't. Bottom line is bring on the P-O-W-E-R

NO they are going to build it - Just wont commit to a time table as to WHEN .. We got a chance to speak to one of the design managers who worked on it and he was VERY enthused about the Lightning.

I like the outside but the inside is a little hard to take. All that alluminum and yellow just doesn't float my boat. I hope they have some more reserved color combinations available.:rolleyes:

It made an impression on me, that's for sure. I think that bright yellow is really distracting and I wonder what I would notice about the truck if I could see past the seats.;)

You have to see it in person. The yellow is clearly not my style. They have moved away from the rounded lines of the current model, BUT in person it looks good. It is the right color and has significant technical improvements.
