Gas stations to stop taking credit cards!

News reported some stations are going to stop allowing credit card use for fuel purchases. So many folks are using credit cards the fees are too high for the stations to profit.... I would think they would just add to CC use like the truck stops do.

Here's one everyone quit using CC and maybe those hi intrest sum-bitches go out of buisness......I think another reason is people charge them up and do pay them off.

+1 they would NOT get my business.. I pay off my cards every month.. actually use AX for most purchases.. plus I want the points.. points are good for you.. :D

I think its knee jerk - Credit cards save them cash fees - same them till losses - save them theft risk, its not black and white

If you stop taking CC - that will be like painting a huge flashing bullseye on your cash drawer

I doubt that it will happen, but if it does they will still probably take debit cards.

We use wright express. It would be a nightmare if we had to use cash or debit to fill up. Our fill-ups are almost always more than a hundred bucks. More than that if the guys run the tank to E. Hell...it already cost enough for fuel. The last thing we need is for the damned stations to start adding 2 or 3%!
