what i was asking/saying is i believe this, or maybe last, year was/is the final year of viper production and that it's a shame.

ps road tripped the cayman S to family reunion last weekend and got it up to buck and a half

very comfy at that speed just ran out of road

Just took the neighbor across the road for a ride - Went about 130 and he was very excited fastest he had ever been was 120 in a 60s muscle car - we went just a little faster than that - If I had known I would have held it a little longer ...

Im going to try to make the cruise if there are spots available

Just found out from the dealer the C6 has an aftermarket MAF and tune already on it

Have a 46mm Vornado feed a 92mm Vornado. That will give you your quick spool and the 4" will carry you on the top end:tu:

on a side note the Porch will be getting new springs 1.5" lower and a full exhaust and CAI intake

I was pleased with the lack of attitude from most of the folks today

the biggest issue I saw was quite a few of them seemed to enjoy tailgating at speed :gatling::throw:and when parking or getting gas they acted like they were the only vehicle there

You got that right Doug. I told Tiff a dozen times they were way too close the whole time... There was one dude that repeatedly showered the other guys with rocks doing burn outs and such in loose gravel.

I was always falling behind because I left a 4 or more car length space between me and the guy in front and it never failed that a z06 would feel the need to occupy that space - at the speeds I was going a 10 car length gap wouldnt have been enough ...
The truck guys seemed more respectful in our caravans :tu:

If I could have gotten one that was in good shape with low miles and warranty I would have - BUT the vette got over 18 mpg on a cruise that was highlighted by lots of high rpm 3rd and 4th gear running - often over 120

true, but try to put a sheet of plywood in a Vette.. it goes both ways.. except for the gas mileage,, Vette will most likely win every time.

I really had a lot of fun Saturday. My business has been crazy this year and I have been working more than usual which I know in these times is a blessing.

Saturday was a good old fashion kick somebody in the nuts horsepower fest. My Porch kept up better than I expected against the monster that is the the Z06. More than one Z06 operator gave me a :tu: on the big end when we were playing.

I hope to be invited to something like this again.

The following closely at speed was noticed by team Porch as well I guess the L guys are used to needing the xtra distance to slow down the brick:D

Its one of the first things I learned with my lowly C6 is that it LOVES the revs ... If I was racing from a roll I would be in the lowest gear that wouldnt blow the damn thing up
