Got this news clip in an email today and thought I'd share it so you can check the date code on your tires. Surprising how some big name stores are selling old tires. Guess I need to check mine tomorrow.

While not surprising in some ways, it is disturbing. I doubt that the tires I buy for the L are ever that old, since it always seems dealers that carry our 18" tires have them in short supply, I even remember when there was not a single F1 in the entire country. But when I go get tires for the other cars, this is something that I will definitely look for, but if you buy them online, I guess you dont have a choice.
