update already. i just talked to steve and if we can get 10 people to want to buy then he will do a group buy and take off $20 per order. i know $20 doesnt seem like much but you gotta think about how much it will cost him alone to have these made. il put this on NLOC too and between the 2 sites il try to get 10 people and see what happens.
so here we go with the list of people:

You are pissing into the wind. You won't find that many buyers it isn't worth the hassle for 20 bucks. I have installed a dozen of those over the years. LFP probably carries them. He is about the cheapest on L parts and is local in Houston.

This is what svt4stv said on the thread you have posted, "We dont recommend putting ice in the ICey Res as it may cause some damage to the core. there isnt that much room in there for it anyways. we recommend using an additional ice tank for.....ice" Why does he call it an ICey Res if you cant put ice in it :tex

the powercooler that goes in the bed is the only way to go, IMO:cool:

damn yall are hard to sale huh? why is it called icey res? its just a name. look at the "killer chiller" isnt killing anything is it?
look im just helping the dude out if you want to do it cool if not please keep the negative out. if it doesnt happen its not gonna hurt my feelings or his. he sales ALOT of cobra stuff anyways. this is just b/c when he makes a run at this tank they just sit for a while b/c lightning guys dont buy like the cobra dudes.
either way im gonna get one if he does a new batch in the future b/c i like the way they look plus i can add more coolant to the system. as for the bed mounted one screw that i like having a bed :D to each his own.

I have his version that works through the a/c system, this version is only a different form of the JLP version, my version has a radiator but into the tank and circulates the freon of the a/c system thus cooling the I/C tank fluid down a lot, but it does wear on your a/c system, but my truck wasn't (when I installed the system) and wont be my DD
the a/c version does work while daily driving and did lower temps quite a bit (need to go back to my data logs) but haven't run the system during the mid day 100+* temps outside now, and is not designed for racing
Even with the JLP power cooler in the bed I was burning two bags of ice after 2 runs
It is a nice tank, just had mine powder coated, but like terry said there are cheaper I/C tanks out there

Honestly there hasn't been a major change to the truck since I last showed you pics (if you haven't seen them I'll send them)
It's too hot to work on it so I'm just collecting parts for her, front suspension, brakes, rear end, tranny
Motor has been sitting on the engine stand for some time now wrapped in plastic, once it gets cool I'll bolt it to the frame along with the suspension, brakes, etc and put the cab back on
BC Lightning, where can i get one of those tanks that runs off the a/c system?
the same guy selling the tanks in the first post sells these, he's on SVTP
I have been looking at running the tank I have along with the Killer chiller and getting rid of the heat exchanger, still need to do some research on it though
