Any one know where I can get a drivers side seat belt, the button is stuck down and won't let it lock. Can't really get anything in there....I'd rather replce it, don't want it to get stuck in a bind........:icon_eek:

Are we talking about the buckle? When I worked at the dealer, I pulled a lot of coins out of seat belt buckles. Take it out of the truck and rap it on the bench a few times. You might get paid.

Usually only new belts. Since they are a safety piece you can't buy them used.

Thanks I'll take it out and see whats up....if not I guess I'll hit the dealership....
You can also try pouring rubbing alcohol in it while you have it out and then jiggle the button to work it loose. Squirt a bit of lube in after it dries.

If they are jerked with enough force they lock in place to be throw away. Like after an accident.

I am sure there is some online vendor that sells these things.. there are enough folks doing auto restorations that you should be able to find a decent price on some new seatbelts. Go ahead and replace all of them, they could save your life some day.

If you do find a used one make sure it didn't come out of a wrecked truck. Seatbelts are shown to lose much of their strength after 1 crash and you don't want to take a chance.

Make sure you get the right buckle shape. They change from year to year. I found that out putting an 01 seat in a 00. The buckles and latches were different...
