just in case some of you don't know what it is.....it shoots flames from the exhaust.....I thought it was pretty cool but he said you can't run it if you have cats...

I call once the company that sells them and someone said that they only work with carburator vehicles.
My old ford used to do the famus flame thing with no kit at all.
I have a 86 f150 with a Halley 4 barrel 750 dobel pomper, and while I was driving I would floor it and with the pedal down shut the engine off and turn the key back on and boom:throw: flames about 3 feet long down the side exhaust:bows :bows
Yeah, the Cats will just burn up all the raw fuel coming through.
I'm pretty sure those units work on FI engines nowadays due to the F&F Hondas and such.
I saw that segment, his placement of the spark plug was terrible, sticking out the side of the exhaust tip like a tumor. But the flames looked really cool. IT would look awesome out of our side exhausts.
What's the danger of putting a fuel injector into the exhaust pipe a couple feet upstream of the spark plug??
