Wow is all I can say

Some of you may have seen this over on NLOC but I just wanted to share my accomplishment with those of you that dont go over there much.. I have been real busy this weekend so i haven't had much time to post this over here.. I don't know how many of you followed my twin turbo build but I finish the build not that long ago and have been doing some street tuning but it just got to a point that it wasn't going to get any better due to the fact of too much power!!
Well we made an appointment to get this thing dialed in on the street tune as well as put Q16 in it and let her rip!!!

It started off making a few pulls on the street tune to see if we could accomplish my goal of 750rwhp on pump gas and we did that @ 17 psi and 15* timing with 770 rwhp. we actually made about 830 on 18psi and 18* and pump gas but that is a little to aggressive for me on the street.. With wastegates only (no boost controller) it makes 16 psi and @15* timing it makes 700rwhp/690rwtq and thats plenty for the street.. So we went in increments of a couple pounds of boost at a time going from 830 to 880 to 920.. it made 920 at 22-23 psi if i remember correctly.. so we turned the dial on the boost controller a little more hoping that 24psi would take us to the 1k mark.. well we let the truck cool down for about 30-45 min and it put down 996/980 @24 1/2psi or something like that.. We were all "Oh it can make 4 more horse" so we turned the dial just a tiny bit more and gave it another 15 min of cool down with some water and ice..
The final pull on the dyno it made a solid 25psi and jumped up over 40rwhp!!! for a total of 1040rwhp/992rwtq!!!
Here is the dyno graph!

That thing is crazy. I'm impressed that they are turning those kind of rpms. The HP graph shows that to get the best ETs, it really should be shifted at redline which is going to be 6500+.

Call me impresssed.

It will take a pretty high stall converter to turn some nice ET's at the track, but it will be a handfull to say the least:bows

Yep... most likely a 4200-4500 stall. Maybe a little less, but not much....

I can't imagine that thing on the street, although I know they mentioned running it at 750+rwhp on the street. It would make that Ford GT race video posted a few days ago look like a walk in the park.

Mike,

What's the status on your build up? Did I miss an update, or are you slow on the finish?

Doing it right the first time, and being done with it

still need to get the 9in rear end and trans. and carbon fiber wheels and fuel system with 3-255lph fuel pumps and 75lbs. fuel injectors, and get the carbon fiber driveshaft to fit with new rearend, and the 3.4 whipple, and get all the etc pieces powder coated

motor is sitting in the garage wraped in plastic, had the full JLP Comp R exhaust coated to kep heat out of engine bay, and had the 3.4 custom Whipple CAI coated to keep air temps down, had the lower intake ported and matched to the heads, heads are ported to match exhaust, brembos, wicked front suspension and steering rack are sitting next to the motor

once all that is bolted up i'll put the cab back on and start working on the interior

I talked to PoorSVT Mike a few weeks ago, his truck looks pretty good, the top of the cab is below the top of the bed on a reg f-150
