I know I could use a little more activity. I say we throw together a TALON ball team for some fun!
I'll play left field.
BC can be our bat boy
Wes T can be the coach
Todd can be the assist/base coach:D
Who else needs to get out and run a little?

I've been left-field for the GM Assy Plant team in OKC in the past. I have the distance to return/launch back to the home-plate.
They used to call me "Scud", but I've been working on my inaccuracy issues.;)

BC can still throw it in the upper 80s, I'm sure. Todd Warren can hit the ball 400'... I've seen it with my own eyes. He's left plenty of balls on top of RL Turner's gymnasium.
This old college SS can still bring it every now and then. I throw 300 pitches a week to 8th graders, so my arm is actually in decent shape (before you laugh, we're ranked in the top-20 nationally every year...and I can guarantee you we'd beat plenty of local 9th grade school teams...school baseball is so overrated nowdays, better ball is played at the select level where you recruit your talent). Arm isn't what it used to be, but I can still move ok.
No time to play, though. I gave that up a couple of years ago.
If you guys get serious, a quality adult league is the North Texas MSBL. www.northtexasmsbl.com (http://www.northtexasmsbl.com)
I played in this league for about 7 years, and there are plenty of former college players, and some ex-pros (including major leaguers) sprinkled in. It's a good league, its real baseball, and that always beats slow-pitch softball which requires very little skill, IMHO.

The 35 and 45 over plays Thursday nights only!

Todd, lots of alcohol and pain pills keep me cheery these days. We'll see how long my organs can keep up with it.
