LIKE CHIT!! Heres the story (excuses!!):

Seems that my tuner was running a bunkass tune in my car to make it go slower than his http://host41.hrwebservices.net/~wacostr/forums/images/smilies/thumbsdown.gif . Actually a late into the night test and tune after installing gears, resulted in my timing tables somehow being set up 25 ALL ACROSS THE BOARD!! ALL RPMS, the WHOLE damn table said 25 http://host41.hrwebservices.net/~wacostr/forums/images/smilies/spaz.gif !! However at the upper RPM my gayass knock sensors were pulling 6 deg of timing for a grand total of 19deg up high... SUPER WEAK (most run 28+). Some 98s have oversensitive knock sensors that like to kill HP (some even report knock sensors pulled timing on STOCK cars!!). Apparently my car has those wonderful knock sensors. Therefore car was sluggish outa of the hole w/ the F'ed up tables... pulling a 1.8 and 1.9 60 and crossing the traps at a ever slow low 8 @ 82-84ish range.

We didn't realize about the table until we were leaving. So a new tune was installed, more timing was added where needed, knock sensors were turned off, and we left. On some Test and Tune on the way home... I'm confident it has some 1.6 or less 60s in it and a mid 7 pass. After the 22 miles treck home, I did a quick launch and it boiled the tires (where before it just hesitated and left). The car was MUCH stronger up top and my gas mileage got better!! I honestly think I got a little over 100 miles on the last TANK!! Anyhow I think this coming weekend Im going to give it another go....

You used to be able to make passes all night long at Denton on a Friday night, Im sure its still like that....

If you go to Denton on Friday night Zac, you'll have no problems getting in as many passes as you like. It is never really crowded unless they have a class race...and most are finished for the season. See you at the Dale.
