Does L need tune before SCT MAF install?

I found to good of a deal to pass up on a SCT MAF and LFP ported eaton s/c.
I was wondering if L's need a tune before installation of a used 90mm SCT Big Air MAF? And if not, is it worth installing if my L isn't pushing much more then stock hp?
All I have is intake, headers, and exhaust. 8.8 1/8

The main things you have to re tune for are injectors, MAF's and the big blowers Whipple, KB etc..
