Driving County Roads...

Well duck hunting was bunk this weekend. I dont think the majority have made it here yet due to the mild weather. BUT there sure were an assload of people on all the public lakes/ponds!! So my wife and I drove some county back roads between public land. We saw whats in the vid plus 1 doe and 3 buck. Two forked horns and one small six pointer. None the less it was a good time, and made me realize I need to stop being cheap and find a lease. The ones that are within a few hours of DFW are way to much $$$$$ though. Not everyone in the metroplex are millionaires!!

Nice video my friends and I hunt on private land in Gunter there is a older farmer there that owns a ton of land that my friends worked for and he lets us go duck and dove hunt out there for free... My friends said they only got a total of 9 between three of them (One really nice mallard).

I'm pissed I couldn't duck hunt this year 2 weeks ago we were having a get together at my house and one of the girls that was there her X came up being all pissy and I went out in the road and told him to leave(he had about 15 other guys with him) and someone said something to me from behind and I turned to look and when I was turning back around he took a running start and sucker punched me in the side of the face with either brass nucks or a loaded fist of lead or quarters or something. It broke my eyesocket in 3 places, broke one of my smaller jaw bones, and broke out my sinus wall so my sinuses filled up with blood... The facial surgeon said I couldn't do any hunting especially with my benelli shooting 31/2" mags... I also had a varmint/hog hunting trip I had to cancel the next weekend over in Rusk County.
