Snowmobiles FTW!!! Go every year in Park City Utah. The place we rent them from is great, they let you actually get off the trails and do jumps and such

Snowmobiles are still the most fun recreation vehicle I have ever driven, fortunately I got a lot of time on them as a kid. Snow skied behind them at very high speeds too.
There was a time in the blizzard of 1978 that we got to drive them on the snow covered streets for a couple weeks to go to the grocery store and help the local fire and police Dept's on them, cars and trucks were banned.
Probably the most fun I ever had, ripping around town legally.:D

I lived in snow country for 23 or so years
I still remember riding my cousins race machine in the back 40 - the snow was so deep that it took 4 or 5 passes to pack it down so you could ride at any speed - then that go boring so we started running down the packed trail at 3/4 throttle and steering off into the powder at a sharp angle then letting go of the sled at the apex and flinging our selves over the high side into the air and into the snow ....
Im amazed we and the sleds survived
