I have heard the phrase don''t shoot yourself in foot,
"to do or say something stupid which causes problems for you"

but I guess shooting yourself in the leg has the same affect:icon_mrgreen:

Sounds like a bunch of folks trying to cover up the antics of another asshat athelete. His buddy takes the gun...so it can't be found??? The club cleans up the mess, doesn't bother to call the police. Which they would had it been "Joe Six-pack". The hospital does not report the GSW as required...:bs

Of course had it been a kel-tec..it might have blown up in his hand and taken both an arm and leg...:d

I shot it quite a bit this last week at my brothers house.. we put pictures of Ronald and Shiner on some jugs of water and filled em full of holes.. not FTE, no problems except all the water leaked out too fast with those big holes in the jugs:evil

Then we shot The Judge revolver and found out that 4 shot .410 shells kicked pretty good compared to the 6 and 9 shot shells.. the .45 Colts werent too bad.. the KelTec performed so well that my sister in law wants to get rid of her Smith and Wesson .38 for one and the wife wants one now to carry around in her purse for CCW. The wife liked The Judge but wasnt too fond of the kick on the 4 shot.. but they will do the most damage, so we will probably keep them.. I will most likely get a 9mm SA XDM for the vehicle and keep my trusty KT in my pocket.. :tu:

his was a Glock and mine is a KT.. the DAO of the gun really is a great safety feature.. apparently he shot himself when he fumbled with the gun.. I just wonder how much he really knows about how to handle a gun..
btw, I am still waiting for you to take me up on my offer of letting me shoot you to see how it works.. :evil

I don't understand your post about DAO Dana. Glock's are double action only as well. There is no hammer to cock and release with the trigger...

Dana,

The Glock has their own "Safe Action" design.

Perhaps you should reread the thread title and see how well your almighty KT works on your own carcass. :evil

I figured I would throw some crap out there and see how long it would take before someone called me on it.. all I can say is that my KT came out of the box and shot a box of 50 without a problem.. so no issues.. the KT has beat all of its competition and you guys just want to post bs to try to yank my leg.. so be it.. but when an athlete does his stupid thing, well, the police will have the last laugh on this one, although they club and the hospital tried to cover it up and not report it.. that is the real story.

These things happen in threes, lol...

On the news tonight some Chief of Police in Ohio or such shot himself in the leg with his Glock 45... He said he never thought it would have happened to him in a million years. He was teaching his 19yr old daughter gun safety...:icon_eek:

Good thing it was a gay 45:D

your more than likely right because it would have misfired:throw:

thing about a glock is when you pull the trigger its going get one off every time:d

true.. actually this is a case where one of the real advantages to a Glock comes back to haunt you.. the short trigger pull on a Glock allows for it to have a fast recycle time to the next shot, prob the best out of all pistols. It appears this might be the case where that short throw may have helped in this gun going of when he didnt want it to.. the KT's have a much longer throw but that lends itself to a higher degree of safety, although it does cause some shooters to not like them.
