You probably wont notice - Terry might since he is up reading and posting while drinking crown late on Friday nights - but most people shouldn't see any impact

Moving to 64 bit OS
Moving to 15k SAS drive
Moving to 4 gb ram
Moving to larger pipe to the internet
moving to PHP 5 - CentOS 5 - Etc etc

The honest answer is yes there may be a 10 min to 1 hour glitch - BUT its designed to happen over night and designed to be as short as possible

For those that are interested... I have been on Doug's server getting my work and personal email for over a year without a single glitch.. it has been a pleasure. :tu:

one other thing Iu forgot to mention is that IF you store mail on the server .. Many people set outoook to leave messages for 14 days or until deleted. You should likely delete the mail on the server BEFORE you reconnect with OUTLOOK the first time on the new server - OR Outlook is going to go reget all the mail on the server since it will think its new ...

Gallery is off line for the time being - and if this migration continues with its issues I may be moving TALON back to the old server -which will unfortunately cause the loss of some data ( recent posts etc )
