Has anyone ever replaced all the bushing on their lightning with an aftermarket bushing kit like energy suspension? if so do you know if there is a kit and how hard is it to do? is there an improvement?

I rebuilt the suspension on my Gen 1 W/ energy suspension components. (Charlie gave me a hand) It isn't too bad.

Terry dropped in new springs a month ago and I just did my entire front end 2 weeks ago, upper/lower and tie rod ends with Moog. With alignment, new front end & new shoes, the 'ol "Toy Truck" glides like new again.
Terry & Steve-O, with all the work I had done on my front end, I come to believe there was nothing wrong with the drop springs Terry took out, I just needed front end work done.

That's good news- those 20's can be tough on the front end. The price you pay to be 'king of bling'

I did work as a tech @ a Ford dealership while I was in High School & for a couple of years after, but honestly, it isn't that bad. The biggest thing is to make sure you soak all the bolts in some PB Blaster, starting the night before & you've got to remember that the I-Beam to Radius Arm bolt has 2 nuts, (One is hidden under the spring seat) so if you try to twist the bolt out of the bottom, it'll never move. You've got to take the nuts off of the top. (inside the spring & under the spring). It is a good weekend project.
