So I had to share how pissed I am that some scum keyed my truck last night while I was sleeping. I live in what I think is a nice neighborhood in Plano (Legacy Village). It's in a covered community garage.

Anyways a few months back some bastards broke my driver side window to steal my Valentine One then now some dicks keyed my driver door. It's through the paint into metal about a foot and a half long a couple inches under my door handle.

I'm SOOOO pissed and done with that place... I'm moving asap. :flaming:

Anyways, figured you all could sympathize.

Anyone have a good body shop they would highly recommend?? Thanks guys... I'll post a pic later.

Ya but they only face the car entrances and exits... Caught the idiots that stole my V1 on camera but they never actually caught them since the cameras have such poor resolution that they couldn't make out the lic plate on the truck.

Boost.. I hate to say it but this could happen anywhere.. some folks just dont like others having nice things and want to ruin it for them.. you can only do things to minimize the occurences. You can move to another apt but who is to say what kind of person will visit there and decide to do this again to your truck? you may want to look at renting a house and being able to park your vehicle(s) in a locked garage.. still wont keep someone from keying your truck when its at a public location though..

sorry to hear about this..

Ya I understand... This is why I'm looking for a town home with a garage.

I have another car I will start to daily drive once I get it fixed so taking the L out in public doesn't bother me nearly as much as where I live.

Honestly I feel so uneasy to the point that I have to wish and hope my truck is still there in the morning. :flaming:

I completely understand.. you start getting worried about driving it anywhere as well.. good luck, rental houses may be cheaper these days too..

That's what I thought. I work at Parkwood/Headquarters. We have had breakins to vehicles here and even a couple motorcycles stolen over the years.

What color is your L? Its not Sonic Blue is it?

Sorry to hear this happened to you bro. I have a guy at work that just moved from down there at Legacy Village. He had an H3 last year and it got broken into in that parking garage and they stole a leather jacket out of the back. Now he drives a new CTS-V and it got the passenger window busted in a little while back and all they could find to steal was his insurance card and all the change out of his console. He recently bought a house up here in frisco though to get away from that mess.

That damn parking garage down there is bait for thieves I guess because of the bars and shit in that area. You would think they would patrol it better at night. Probably a bunch of drunk punkasses leaving fox sports grill or one of those other places.

Damn I hate thieves. :flaming:

Yeah, I can't help with the body shop bro, but I do have a nice rent house in Allen that would be a safe, quiet place to house your L (and you ;)).

It's a bit farther east than you are now, though.

Best of luck getting it repaired to your satisfaction. Sorry to hear about the trouble.

Dammit Boost, that does suck! :flaming: I lived 6 mos basically across the street from you at Legacy/DNT with the L and Jeep in a gated 4-story parking garage with never an issue. Same when I have taken the L to past work sites in the area.

Sounds like thieves have moved into the neighborhood. That's a shame for an otherwise upscale neighborhood.

Wes I appreciate it... Can you give me more details on the property? Pics? Address... You can PM me. :tu: I'm interested in something in Allen since I work in Rowlette mostly.

Ya I was really expecting a much better neighborhood... I think it's just the type of people in my area. There are a lot of younger "party" type people I noticed living in the area after I moved in. Sucks because I feel like I pay and arm and a leg for this place.

Every time I hear about someone keying a vehicle I think about Pulp Fiction.
My feelings exactly.

Still got your Malibu?
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): Aw, man. You know what some ****er did the other day?
Lance (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000655/): What?
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): ****ing keyed it.
Lance (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000655/): Oh, man, that's ****ed up.
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): Tell me about it. I had it in storage for three years, it was out for five days and some dickless piece of shit ****ed with it.
Lance (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000655/): They should be ****ing killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): Boy, I wish I could've caught him doing it. I'd have given anything to catch that ******* doing it. It'd been worth him doing it just so I could've caught him doing it.
Lance (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000655/): What a ****er!
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): What's more chickenshit than ****ing with a man's automobile? I mean, don't **** with another man's vehicle.
Lance (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000655/): You don't do it.
Vincent (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000237/): It's just against the rules.

Clark Bros in Arlignton, they are the best around

They're painting my Tahoe right now. Rob (02 Bolt) would have them repaint the entire truck when he would get a rock chip. There are dozens of us on here that have used them

They quoted me $125 to wet sand, polish, buff and wax the Vette, might want them to do your truck while its getting fixed, I'm having them wet sand the Tahoe

SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - An eastern Pennsylvania man may face up to 37 years in prison for tearing open a neighbor's door with a chain saw. Police say 34-year-old Robert Kane began sawing through the front door of Jamie Zaleski's apartment in Scranton while Zaleski and several friends ran out the back.

Kane was angry because a friend of Zaleski's parked in front of his house across the street. Police said when Zaleski asked who was at the door, Kane said it was his worst nightmare, told him, "Open the door or I'll cut it down," and started sawing.
A jury convicted Kane on Tuesday of charges including attempted burglary, attempted criminal trespass and terroristic threats. He was held in lieu of $20,000 bail. A sentencing date wasn't immediately set.

I'd def recommend them too!!

They did my Gold SS hood and it matches PERFECT!! I called a few other shops that were recommended for their quality and of the 5, 3 said they wouldn't touch it for ANY amount due to the fact it COULD NOT BE MATCHED. I can guarantee you Clark and Bros begs to differ!! :D Oh I also forgot to mention this was 6 days before my wedding (it was the get away car!!) he said he was very busy and it would take 2 weeks to get it in and out, but I told them the occasion and he said bring it by we'll take care of it!! TOP NOTCH SERVICE & QUALITY @ a FAIR PRICE!!
yes I guess I'm a nut swinger!!
Oh and finally I forgot what post on here I was reading way back when that recommended him, but huge thanks to whoever it was!!

STONY POINT, N.Y. (AP) - Police in upstate New York say a man has been sprinkling roofing nails on the driveways of people he didn't like to cause flat tires for two years. Stony Point police Lt. Peter Quinn said Michael Delisio was arrested Tuesday after an officer staking out one victim's home saw nails being thrown from Delisio's car.

Quinn says the 60-year-old man from West Haverstraw has been charged with harassment, criminal tampering and mischief.
He says victims in Stony Point and Haverstraw have complained more than 40 times since 2006 and that he's never seen vandalism performed with "this type of consistency." It was not clear if Delisio has a lawyer. Messages left at the court of his arraignment and at his home were not immediately returned.
