http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/MichaelBic38/IMG_1384.jpg
put the rear end under the leafs to get it out of the way, when I get a few thing done to the front (Suspension, motor and tranny mounted, cab back on the frame) i'll take the rear end apart and get it powder coated

Very nice, Michael. The Viper seats (actually even SRT-10 truck seats) are a nice upgrade.

Estimated completion date is Oct. That will put me at 2 years of working on her, most of the big pieces will flow pretty easy, its all the small stuff here and there that will take the longest, plus the wheels still need to be made
Very cool Michael! Congratulations on getting closer to the 10 second

Actually the truck will probably never be raced with slicks, I'm burned out on drag racing on setting up the rear with a 4-link kit, coil overs and panhard bard
Since the truck is going to be a cruiser i'd rather it ride like its on a cloud than make it rough just to drag race it once every six months
If I get into drag racing again there is a truck that is completely set-up for drag racing that I'd buy

plus they were $300 on e-bay. I'm ditching the mechanical seats and going with passanger power seats to mount them on. Plus the seats are really comfy. All that needs to be done is recovered with the new suede that I'm using on the back wall and headliner and visors, I thought about using black suede instead of carpet, but not sure how that would look

One of the best colors out there! I didn't realize you were doing this. When it is all done, it will be one of the nicest/fastest L's on the planet. You're doing it right with all the attention to detail. Just awesome!

which is why its taking so long, there will be tons of one off interior and exterior items
I'm doing everything I want to do one time and have been researching the best stuff available before buying, looked into all the different engine options, head/cam combos, before making my decision on who was going to build it and what they were going to build
I'm doing a lot of carbon fiber trim pieces and looking for a company to make a carbon fiber cowl hood, they have Lightning Cobra R and Stock hoods, but not cowl....might just have to talk someone into making a one time hood
I'm actually going to get a brand new DGMotorsports bumper, has carbon fiber trim on it to match the carbon fiber wheels I''m about to have made next month, just have to mount the Brembos and get the full dimensions of the brakes front and rear so they can make the wheels.... 20's of course

Hood looks nice with carbon, I'll search tonight, click on my page and look at my old 1000 I believe u can see some of the carbon made pieces. Just my cowl cost 300 to do with real carbon, a hood would be close to 2k guessing
