just thought i'd post this to see if i'd get any bites. :D

i'm a huge english football fan (soccer) and a Manchester United fan in particular. today one of the top five players in the world turned down the money from the richest club in the world because of club and fan loyalty. brazillian star kaka, who plays for ac milan of italy, rejected the bid of the english team manchester city (a Manchester United rival), who was recently purchased by an arab oil man. he bragged that he'd turn city into the biggest, most sucessful team in the world. his other star player robinho, also of brazil, after hearing today's bad news flew home to brazil in huff and is not talking. today's embarrassment, and the fact that his team is near the bottom of the league and may drop out if they can't turn things around, makes his job very difficult.
