A good commie bastard friend of mine gave me a bottle of Finlandia Vodka or such last summer as payment for fixing his A/C. He had no cash so a bottle of good wodka as he calls it was his payment.

It sat sealed on my counter for several months. I broke the seal tonight. He lost his brother at 52 last year. Back in the Russian Army which he had 22 years in... They use to drink what they called 'spiritus'? Anyway he said it was 90% alcohol for cleaning electronic parts or machingery... Well that took its toll and it has eaten his esophagus up. His brother died in a Euopean province, Viktor just had surgery in Dallas last week and should recover okay. He has some good crazy stories about his russian days. He also has an amazing gun and medal collection from Russia. Here's to Viktor, mazltaf or whatever you commie bastard salute with!:beer:

Another buddy of mine brought me a bottle of some liquor from the island of Cypress, Grease whatever. He says it it served as an apetizer before a meal and they run a bottle or two. I think it is 90 proof and it tastses like white lightning. They drink it warm! Heathen greek bastards...:beer:
