He is building from the ground up, so yes he will be built!! I think i talked him down to a 8 pound pulley!!!

yea forgot to let you guys know, i splater half the block,on the street.that is y i am goin fully buil:icon_twisted:lt.but i think david is right, i might go whit a 8#pound, for the street and 10#for the strip.

off the top of my head I would say at the very least a bigger mass air meter, really safe tune, and some longtube's woudlnt hurt(for some pressure release). But in the summer time for sure its going to generate so much heat a heatexchanger upgrade would help and maybe porting the blower.

An 8# on a stock block is asking for a hole in the block in my opinion. I would think just going with a 6#, MAF, and a good tune with the ported blower would be enough to satisfy with the stock bottom end. The heat that thing is gonna produce would be a bit dangerous with an 8# lower.

The other option would be a KB or Whipple Supercharger. That way you don't have to run as much boost to get as much power.

I aslo agree on the kb since he is going built, you can pick up a 2.3 for just a little over a 1k and make all the power you need for a good DD truck:tu:

Yeah, I was thiniking by the way you asked that maybe you meant yours. If you do pulley it, just go 6. With a good tune, it will be safe. The 8 would hurt it more than it would help. I have a KB 2.3 but it's is pending sale "again". I'll let you know if it falls thru. :tu:

Right now it is pending to Nick (Nacklas). I leave for vegas in the morning, but I will be back on Tuesday evening, and then we are supposed to meet up to see if he is wanting it. If he changes his mind I will keep you in mind for sure. The first guy I had buying it didn't have the money in the end that he thought he was going to have. So Nick was second in line behind him.
