Since the failed break in attempt, i have decided to fix the handle and all the other minor flaws on the L, kinda a refreasher, i told the shop owner i would strangle him if he does a bad job on her, along with all that new moldings and badges and replace all faded pieces..

I wouldn't think the blue would be too difficult for a good body shop to paint match. U planning to smooth and paint any of the trim pieces at all? Like tailgate or window trim or anything? Or just replacing them?

Replacing most of them, like the textured look

Looked good far away, the truck almost got broke into they messed up the driver door and i had some marks deep scratches in a few places someone egged it and rocks chips all over the front so it seemed like it was time!!

I want to do that too... but I am thinking of having armourcoat sprayed on the forward facing surfaces to protect against rock chips and such.. are you doing any thing special around the areas that get exposed to wear to keep it from having to be painted again?
Are you going to keep it stock or are you going to do anything different?

Yeah going to change it up a bit, working on a paint scheme.. Im thinking about doing the 3m clear bra on it, i need to check with my installer to see if he has the pattern for the lightning!!

Damn David- I saw one minor issue on the tailgate a few weeks back and now this. They must have done a number on the truck during the break in attempt.
Who's doing the work?

Premier Autobody in Mansfield.. I had a scratch on the door as well the drivers side rear bed panel had two eggs thrown at it and just six years of rock chips and other things.. After the failed break in i decided what the hell and pulled the trigger 2500 to do it.. Im on pins and needles waiting on results!!

No not at all!!! I'm a big fan of that paint scheme! When I put my L in the shop i'm going to to have it all black to go with the wheels and all the badges. I have a ideas for the hood that I have, just to throw a little color but not to much!:tu:
