Be prepared to spend a good five hours on the dyno or better depending on what modifications you have. Patrick takes his time and does a awesome job when it comes to tuning.

I have been waiting all week for him to send out my revised tune for the egr turned off. Not sure if he is slammed this week or there are some problems with the email server.

He has so much work he has to turn-down work. I'll be lucky if I can squeeze in a race tune over the next few weeks.

Yeah, but how long does it take to open a tune he just sent me and turn of the egr and email it to me. I don't wanna go with another tuner at this point since the truck is being sold.

If it is a mild or stock tune I'll turn the EGR off for you. In all of 5 minutes.

Got an e-mail from Frailen. Said it put down 535HP 667ft/lbs. He said it was misfiring pretty bad too. So who knows what it'll make when it's running 100%. He said he's going back soon after he figures out the misfire and he's gonna get a race tune for it.

No shit, man. I didn't think it was going to put those kind of numbers down. Especially with a misfire. He said it was hitting 17psi.

I would guess it is either cops or spark plugs. What kind of plugs did you go with?
yadisisp2

Is it misfiring at idle? What did you gap the plugs to? If its doing it at idle, pull one cop out at a time and see if you can find a bad one. You never know.

yadisisp2

You should gap them to 32. Also, the cops are stock. You ever wash the engine bay with a hose?

No but I did hit a big puddle while in houston so much that the belt started to squeal. It might of gotten some on the cops.

03-17-2009, 06:47 PM
It's possible. Did it start to do it after you hit that puddle?

Maybe it had an effect on it, just didn't show right away while it was running. Check your cops and make sure there's no water in or around them

I finally got it fixed it running good now found one plug was bad. detonation took it out. I pulled them all and it was one on the drives side second one. I guess the tune was so lean it took the plug out before I got to psi.
