That's a built motor right- why didn't they put them in at the time of the build:confused::hammer:

if it is mainly daily/street driven stage 2 cams

Most vendors have their own "stage 2" cams with their own specs, Comp makes a nice stage 2 cam, it will get expensive with all of the other parts and labor needed

I would have head work done(port & polish) and leave the stock cams in it......

The trick flow heads for our trucks are flowing at better rates than 4 valve heads, and they are 2 valve, thats way better than just port/polishing

Wells, cams are around $500. You plan on putting them in yourself? If not, check some shops to see what they charge. Just be sure to let them know you have aftermarket valve springs (Manley Nexteks) in it already.

Yea i am not looking to spend too much on the combo maybe 1500 2000 max You should be able to find some stage 2 ported heads in that price range. And then just sell yours as stock heads with upgraded springs. The power you want will mostly be in the port, not the cams. Don't get me wrong, cams will give more power but the port is where its at.

I would put my money into a blower, cams are not worth the labor and hassle if the truck is running. Get a Whipple or large bore blower that will make all the power you will ever need.

If i get a whipple 3.4 wouldnt i have to upgrade injectors and the whole fuel system?

If you want to go over 600hp. I have seen 650 on 60's and 255's pumps only. A fuel system is a nice upgrade. I think LFP and others have kits under a grand. Speed is money how fast do you want to go>>>

so basically I am looking at 6000 for the whole thing fuel and supercharger.

Or you could just throw a 50-100 shot on it.

basically, plus you will need the 3.4 inlet JJ made for the 3.4 whipple, the current 3.4 with the restrictive inlet is causing problems with too much heat, he has seen 30-40* temp drop with the new inlet and 160mm throttle body

I'm also getting his fuel system, it comes with fuel hat, pumps, lines, injectors, fuel rails, etc

if you order the whipple from him he will cut the price of the blower and take out the 2.3whipple inlet it comes with, and ship the whipple with his inlet
