Just wondering what kind of mileage you guys have on your trucks... coming from the chevy site i know theres many of us who use our trucks as daily drivers and weekend warriors...

im still on my original motor (stock bottom, stock heads, intake etc etc) and coming up on 200,000 miles...

i know some harley truck guys that have some high miles on their trucks, but what about you L guys??

I sold my Gen 1 with 198K and was getting 15MPG. (driving like grandma)
And she ran a 9.66 1/8th stock

My 99 @ 110,000 gets 16.5 MPG (just checked it last week) And that's taking is easy most of the time. And she is running 7.86 1/8th

Edit: adding

08 Focus.... 22k 35mpg
08 Custom GT....8k 20MPG

At the worst, 10-11 mpg with mixed city/highway driving and romping on it. A little better than that with straight highway driving- 13-15 mpg.

I'm around ~55k on the odometer, I think.

Almost 220K on my Gen 1. I did just freshen up the engine, but the funny thing is that it started with just a coolant leak on the lower intake. I thought hmmm.. .If I pull the intake, why not freshen up the heads? It does have 220 on it. Then I thought, hmmm If I pull the heads, why not just pull the engine & freshen up the whole thing. Now it's done (damn cylinder walls were perfect anyway... still had the orig taper & crosshatch marks) & the tranny and rear will be done by this time next weekend. Hmmm. so much for just fixing a leak. I think my wife wants to kill either me or the truck @ this point. (maybe both:throw:)

My 03 Harley odometer reads 60K, I bought it in 06 with only 11K but now suspect the odometer was tampered with (heads and trans showed signs of removal, brakes were worn out at 16K, broken metal chunks in the intake when we cleaned the inter-cooler, etc). No engine or trans issues but the rear differential bearings were shot and howling at 58K, gears were fine.
