Those look like Hooker headers on there. Is that what your going to keep on the new setup Mike?

I wish it would be, but there is just no way that I'll have it done by then, I hope it will be done no later than OCt, so I can bring it to the famm Chevy vs Ford shootout

They are JLP Comp R headers that I had coated, 1) to match the rest of the truck, and 2) to help keep heat out of the engine bay

The one in the pic is a 6# lower, I'll probably be running either a stock size lower or 2# lower on the street and 4 or 6#er at the track, also have a 8#er in case I want to run 30# of boost or more :D

With the 3.4 whipple they are seeing 20#+ with a 2-4# lower (depending on the upper pulley also)

Stroked

I can guess, but really hate to, I got a text from Dante last week, they built another motor like mine, Whipple 3.4, but I have better cams and heads

On its first pull it made 720rwhp on a mustang dyno, I erased the text, but IIRC it was at 10 or 11* of timing and pig rich a/f ratio

I already have my license plate picked out . . . . . . 800 HP :evil

Thanks!!!

The next major project besides the rear end is the wiring harness, going to get rid of all of the wires I'm not using, and re-wrap it to make it look 100 times better

Yeah that is what I am doing. Doing away with ALL of the wiring and doing the Big Stuff 3. I am also getting a molding made for the Racepak digital Dash to replace my stock cluster. Should look clean and nice.........Keep up the good work.

I thought about ditching the stock cluster and going with Autometer Cobalt digital gauges, but heard that the PATS system works with the stock instrument cluster, and since my truck is more of a cruiser and not a race only truck, I'd be too afraid of parking the truck anywhere without the PATS enabled

I have my eye on a built Lightning with cage I'm thinking of nuying, if I do, I'll go with a custom gauge cluster

Yeah with my new motor and turbo combo I have no buisness on the street anymore. I dont have enough self control for it to be a street truck LOL....BUT like yourself, I will not chop the truck up.

Where did you get the 4-Link built??
