Does anybody know how to clean an intercooler..:icon_question: Or what kind of cleaner i can use to do so:icon_question:

seems like when I did mine I used half dozen or so cans of chemtool carb cleaner

I think you can use some orileys brand break cleaner if you want to go the cheap way out, should work just fine

Once all the grease is gone and its completely clean it dry's in seconds. Just evaporates in no time. The aerosol type cleaner does anyway

tons of write ups at SVTPerformance

just buy a box of brake cleaner from autozone. youll end up using most all of it.

Use B12 it works 10x better. Wear gloves and a mask its toxic:eek:

thanks guys for da 411.. it was filthy but after a box of b12.. looked like new.. i also cleaned the ic pump while i was at it!:tu::D

UNless you delete the EGR it will be black again in a few months.

i actually was thinking of doing that. but didnt quite know how. read a couple of reviews over it but havent got a chance to do it yet.. do u have a how to on it?

you have to tune right after taking it off.

block the vacuum line on top of the EGR valve and turn it off in the tune. or you can get pretty fancy caps.

so i wouldnt need an egr block off plate?
