when running your race tune at the track how many gallons of gas do you guys normally put in your trucks? You should run it with at least a 1/4 of a tank.

Determine what octane you want and go here.

I would say no more than 5gallons with a 1/4 tank of 93. You would probly want to run 110.

When you get in the higher HP ranges you should run with no less than 1/2 a tank. You will be sorry when your truck spikes lean and you lose a motor because you didn't wanna spend another 50 bucks.

I used to run 1/4 tank with 93 and 5 gallons of 104. Not only would I run lean, but I didn't have enough fuel in the tank and the truck would spudder down the 1/4. When I would launch all of the fuel gets thrown to the back of the tank away from the fuel pumps.

Like Chad said, when running higher HP motors, N20, twin screw big bore superchargers I wouldn't run less than a 1/2 tank of gas and would feel safer using 110

its really the other way around, most people will run race fuel so they can run more boost/timing. On a street tune you real wont gain anything but peace of mind(less prone to detonation)
