Nitrous Oxide Question.

Hey guys well just got a TNT kit for the truck. Question is were to install the Nitrous tips seen some in the elbow, on spacers, and on the C & L Plenum.

Now for what I have on the truck is a 6# lower, C & L Plenum and elbow, LFP Single Blade Throttle Body, SCT Tuner Tune By Terry. What will be a safe shoot with what I have on the truck and if I need more things let me know. What do u have in mind, Thanks guys I just don't want to blow or go build motor right now.

To be as safe as you can be you need a plate systerm, window switch, progressive contoller, only use with race gas and a very very good tune:D


I would try just a 50-75 shot to start with because you will be pushing it with a 6# pulley

I had a 125 shot on my '03 with about the same mods (a few more). I had a #4 however. Nozzle was in the C&L elbow I had. You'll need a new tune of course. I ran that set-up for over a year with no problems.

Thats good to know, when I find a low mile Lightning or Harley(cant take being with out one and if I find the color I want) I was going to start off with leaving it bone stock and shooting a progressive 150hp shot and work my way up from there maybe to a 250hp shot:D. I have decided in the heat nitrous is the best way to up the powerknana

Alright Tiffo they had 2 tuxedo 2003 Harleys on Ebay yesterday.

One was 15K and another with about 10K miles was real high like 20K

All I can do is lead you to the water but I cant make you drink (LOL)

Tiff, I had a Zex wet system with a flip chip, street/juice. I can't remember how many HP's/TQ's it was lying down but I seem to remember 500ish/602ish. It had ALL the usual bolt-ons with a #4 lower. I never had a single problem with that set-up. It ran a 7.6 @ Denton.

Seems to me that you put the nozzle where its easiest to install, in the rubber boot.. then to be safe, go back to a stock tune.. Then to test it out... make a few wide open long runs down the freeway to break in the new system. :evil:evil:evil

Hey now for what i did last night.

My kit comes with 2 nozzle and now I found out that my lines are not that long to make the kit work the way I want so now I have to buy longer lines.

Was working on it last night but got a little distracted by this kid with a 01 lightning he stop by my places cuz one of my friends that was there knows him and he asked what wee were doing so my friend told him and the he was like f___ that nitrous is for girls ect............. well that got me a little turn on and told my friend call hi up and tell him that on juice or no juice ill still get him so he comes over 20 min latter him and like 5 Chevy trucks so am like let me just pump gas.:burnout:

1. Run
Dead stop I was spinning like crazy my N555 are old but I was 2 truck in front at the end (95mph):nana2

2. Run
30 punch on the freeway I only saw him right before wee took of then let off at 100 and was 8 truck's in front.:nana2

3. Run
Same as the 2run but I was 10 truck in front when let of around 130mph :nana2

I was ok lets go home but then I see him come up and wants some more am like dam but ok ill do 1 more he was like dead stop so I say ok. He is running N555 Drag R. so wee go and this time I did half throttle so he was 1/2" a truck in front but here I come past him and had about 2 trucks when cars were 80ft in front of me.

So he still wants some more man kid but I gesso 2 more times yawl all ready know what happened. knana

#4 might be a bit safer. If your not interested in rebuilding the bottom end right now that might be a wise choice. The guys who did my tune back then ('04) are not around anymore. I'm sure some of our G2 brothers will steer you in the right direction. Screw those chumps who are mouthing off. You showed them the ass end. That's all that matters. If you have juice and they don't....oh well. They need a bigger gun in the fight. Besides, it's line locks that are for girls. Not nitrous..:evil

I am trying to get them to runt me at the track but there like no lets do it on the street but man paying speeding tickets its not fun and winning at the track in front off people makes u do it again and again. :nana2knana
