i posted a thread on cai and tb wondering what to do next to my truck and i kinda got the feeling through the responses i got that the TB really wasnt worth it and the CAI was mainly just to make the blower louder which i understand. i will slap a cai on the truck someday down the road not a real big mod. anyways........... to the point....... i was just wondering what u guys would recommend i do next to the L.
mods are 4lb lower, sct tune from terry, and catback exhaust. i wanna do something that will make pretty good power. thats why im holding off on the cai and tb lol. thanx guys.......

If you're looking only for power, spray or an upgraded blower.

what exactly does your upper pulley do? it spins the blower right?! is that worth doing? i just want to do something to the truck that will add a good number of extra horsepower without upgrading to a whipple or kb. also is a 6lb lower really that much better than the 4lb lower? i got lots of questions lol bare with me guys im a newb.

6lb gives you 2 more pounds of boost over the 4lb so yes it helps alot!!

Not entirely true
We put an 8# lower on my buddies L because with the 4# lower, ported heads, cams, headers and ported Eaton, he was only seeing 8#'s of boost
Now with the 8#er he is now seeing 10#, had it tuned at PSI and put down 480hp on 93 octane
so yes in theory it might add 2#s of boost going from a 4# to 8#, depending on the setup

upper pulley is important when you switch to a twin screw blower, if your still running an eaton, it will just over spin the blower causing it to heat up thus creating more heat and less power, lower pulleys are the way to go, plus less chance for belt slip
6#er will help power wise depending on the tune
I would do built longblock, then whipple, then helper mods (pumps, injectors, headers, etc)

True, but on a mostly stock motor with cats he should see that..
